IF IT HELPS TO KNOW.
Much depends on the tech of the imaging center. Older studies were on VHS,>CD, now digital hopefully. It will be read 1st presumably by a radiologist, then who knows how many specialists: findings/interpretations/recommendations/consultations/plan of actions/who gets to tell you? It all takes time & you will be the last to know. Sorry but I have nothing to help, but prayer.

A friend has that pain come about every couple years. They never have found the reason why or what it is.
I was told once that the pain can be from the sack getting torn from the rib cage can cause the pain. I once was pushing a truck backward by using my back against the hood and pulling force with my hands. The next day I thought someone stuck a knife in me and was twisting it right where you are talking about. I even had to leave work the pain was so bad. When I got home my wife smeared my ribs with icy hot very heavily. The next morning I couldn't even tell I had had any injury or pain. I was told I probably had torn the sack loose from my rib cage. I don't know for sure what it was but it was gone.
I use to smoke and sometimes I would cough so hard that again I would get that pain in the same area. My lady friend also smokes and I wonder if these pains aren't from coughing so hard it again pulls on the sack lining.
