Plan on taking my 8 year old grandson. He can't wait! He's a huge WWII fan.

I will see it....
I will see it, if not in the theaters, at some point. A movie that is actually about something. What a novel concept.

I really hope it's well done and tells the history correctly. Lot to ask for from hollywood. I'll be there Friday.

Undoubtedly WWII had the biggest overall impact economically, culturally, physically, and emotionally than any event in human history. The Roman Empire, the Chin Dynasty, The Mongol invasion of the rest of Asia & parts of Europe, Alexanders conquest of the middle east and the Cold war also had major impacts but these other events were more or less regional often told from the viewpoint of Westerners.
It is amazing to me that Hollywood can still make a significant profit from WWII. Of course, drama needn't be added, the truth is usually dramatic enough. I wonder if many generations down the road, folks will still be going to see new WWII movies.
But yes, I do intend to see the movie.

I was talking about this with my son today. I generally don't go to movie theaters, but I might make an exception for this one. Before too long, kids will be asking us what "movie theaters" were and why we didn't just stream it at home when it was released.

Want to see it, I know reducing an event this large to two hours requires some compromises, but hope for reasonable accuracy.

A friend an I are gonna see it sometime next week. No need to fight opening weekend crowds. We've been talking about this since we first saw the trailers back in March or so.

I will eventually see it. But I just can't justify going to a theater and being annoyed by the patrons and ripped off by the theater.

I'll wait for it to show up on Redbox. That's what I usually what I do. I think the new King Kong movie will be there fairly soon, can't wait to see it when it does.

These were only issued to the RN. If there are any "inside shots" on DDs perhaps. Any other use, not genuine. Dave_n

I'm tempted, it sounds like a well done movie. I'm just not into dark or depressing movies any more.

TS, the Lanchester SMG was designed in 1940 and likely wasn't ready for the field by the time that the evacuation took place in May/June of that year.

My friend and I hit a matinee mid week. Typically much less crowded. Nice thing about being self employed (or retired). And cheaper too!

I'm not allowed in crowded places anymore (immune system failing), so will wait for cable/dvd. But if I were to get out, it would be for that.
