A little mindless trivia to start the weekend
It's been a rough week, so how about mindless, yet funny, trivia to start the weekend.
Smile for the day--Amazing Facts
If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.
(Hardly seems worth it.)
If you passed gas consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.
(Now that's more like it!)
The human heart creates enough pressure when it pumps out of the body to squirt blood 30 feet.
(O.M.G.!)

Well, it's nice to know I can heat up a cup of coffee if lost in the woods.

I've been passing gas that long and I've only created enbarrassment.

If you have high blood pressure it squirts even farther.

If you use 140 mm of Hg as a "normal" blood pressure, that is 2.7 psi. I don't believe that will squirt blood 30 feet. I can't get to the far side of the toilet bowl.

You can build a serviceable bumper jack using only three paper clips, a shop rag, and the core from a roll of extra wide aluminum foil.

That's because our pressure is down to zero and have to depend on gravity to get it out, much less across.

I vividly remember a few years back there was a Florida Panthers Hockey player that had his throat cut by another player's skate I'm confident 30 feet is do-able..The ice was absolutely disgusting afterwards.
I'm sure you could find the video posted somewhere on the internet, if you really wanted to see it..
