Islamoradamark
I just saw pics from his key and it looks rough. I hope and pray he is OK.
You know they zeroed in on the worst there. Maybe he's not news worthy. Still, I hope all went well.
We also have a member from Big Pine Key (I can't remember his handle) that needs some thoughts and prayers as well as the rest on my favorite key. They got hit hard.
I did see some video of three Key Dear on the side of the road. I looked like they were ok but they couldn't duck into the mangroves because it was so spaghettied. Traffic might get them if they can't get away from the road side.
Mark? Can you hear me?

I was on Islamorada a couple of weeks ago. Stayed at an AirBnB named Between Heaven and Earth. Hope that came through OK!

Not just Key West.......
People forget about the chain of islands that make up the Keys.

From the video and photos I have seen, it looks like the Keys were hit as hard as all of the Caribbean Islands except perhaps Antigua and Barbuda, where it was a Category 5.
Words cannot express the magnitude of what these images depict, and the only one that comes to mind to describe the feeling I get when I seem them is "heartbreaking."
God's blessings on all who were affected by Harvey and Irma, and especially on those whose homes, livelihoods, and history have been destroyed.

Son is in FL NG. His unit flew supplies down to the Keys. He said words can't describe the damage.
Hope Mark is OK.

Prayers for all of our folks that have been, or are currently in harms way. This has been a brutal hurricane season.
Best Regards, Les
