As you were not talking about Acorn, I was not talking about you personally. I was referring to wingriderz misspelling of judging and observation. He inadvertently spelled it judeing and obersvation. As I said earlier, I TRY to do better each year. I thought a light hearted poke at misspelling might ease up the tension, but you seem to be really wound up about this so I will gleefully back out. Just wanted you to understand what I wrote before you "juded" me.

Since I'm retired and have a lot of free time , I volunteer at a local Food Bank . During my orientation class the President stressed that we were not to be judgmental because we don't know the people's actual circumstances , etc. I get that but it doesn't stop you from wondering while I'm loading bags in the trunk of their nice shiny Accura and they're talking on their cell phone all the while sporting expensive hair weaves and long manicured nails . Am I being judgmental ? Hell yes I admit it . BUT , I smile and tell them to have a nice day . Then the old man with the " WWII Veteran " ball cap comes in and makes it all worthwhile .

Do people abuse the system? You bet. Is it our job to enforce the rules? Nope.

I just got my first handicapped plates and card and I'm wholly embarrassed that I'm having to use them-no fault for others who need them. My issues are neurological--I lost my career as a LEO thanks to it. Now my condition is worsening to where it appears as if I'm drunk all the time-and I don't drink, do drugs-nada. My balance is very bad and I stumble to the left. I just spent the full day being reprogrammed in San Antonio yesterday-so am much better but--ill have to keep being reprogrammed about every 2 months or so the rest of my life. God bless your daughter and all like her.

Unfortunately, many of us-and sadly-I still (unthinkingly) do.
