Default Peyton Manning comedy and commercials

Since it's Sunday it football day thus hundreds of commercials. The ones I do like are the new Peyton Manning commercials. He is probably as good a comedian as he was a quarterback. His timing and deadpan are excellent. I also love his SNL skits, the one about him teaching football to kids is great. Just thought I would throw that out there so see what others think.

I just saw the one with Brad Paisey, and I love his commercials. The one about being in the retirement home is great!

I enjoyed the retirement home skit also.

I think the point is that he is good at it (making commercials) just as he was at football......really has nothing to do with how wealthy he is.

He is a 1st class person IMO.

I, too, appreciate Peyton's skills on and off the field. He's one of the seemingly few class acts associated with the NFL.

He'd be a natural as a football analyst--immense knowledge of the game, and a lot of the humor and fun that made Don Meredith so popular.

I don't have a link but seems I remember hearing the way Papa John and Peyton got together was PJ was top bidder in a charity auction for a dinner with Peyton. PJ didn't call so Peyton called him and the friendship business arrangement was formed. Peyton has been effective for PJ and I agree he'd be a natural in the broadcast booth.
