Roofers respect National Anthem
3 guys working on a roof near a high school football game pause to show some respect.
Roofers in Maine stop work to respect national anthem, flag
it seems that those spoiled overpaid pro athletes could learn something from 3 regular guys that will likely never make anywhere near the money they do.

Most guys who actually work for a living are grateful to be working in a country that lets them do so. You won’t find too many blue collar guys that don’t show respect for their country’s flag.

Them boys are what makes America and has what MADE America what it is.
And I'm not talking about those spoiled NFL goons!!! One reason why I love baseball and the MLB. Don't see much of that nonsense going on in the MLB, and way fewer guys getting in trouble for rapes, murders, etc.

The three men in the photo are Dwayne Harrison, Danny Thyng and James Scruggs.
Gentlemen, well done.

Excellent. And, according to the story, when asked, they declined to comment.
Had to get back to work.
Besides, action speaks louder than words. No comment needed.

And to think my Dad fought in WWII and got bits of his body blown off so these whiny little (expletive deleted)'s can have the freedom to disrespect the flag, the country and the people who fought so hard for those freedoms.

My Dad floated across the Pacific in the hull of a requisitioned Norwegian freighter, slept on the ground on Guam, the Philippines and Okinawa. Suffered from a head injury and numerous unidentified fevers. His fighting weight was only 120 pounds and he was six-foot-three.
Then he was sent to Korea a few years later. Bravest man I've ever known. Quiet and deliberate, never complained and was proud to serve.
And these fools refuse to stand for The Anthem. Someone hold me back.
