Mika Holster
Please not a bash thread, just curious if anyone has heard from or received a holster from Bob lately. I love my first one so I ordered another in early August. After the customary phone call from him after ordering I'm still waiting. At the time I ordered he said I should expect it in the middle of October. Have e-mailed him a couple of times but never got a response.
Hope he's OK and just really busy, or my order just got lost somewhere in his system.

That's certainly odd behavior from Mika's Holsters. He's usually right on top of customer service / customer contact.

So what kind of resolution to your problem do you expect to get by posting this here? Seems like an unproductive use of your time.

Lots of forum users know some of the vendors, either personally or professionally, so posting here to see if anyone knows about the status of someone is not unusual and often is productive.

Seems pointless. All needs done is to make a call. Would take less time than reading responses here. He isn't doing business with us after all. Said it wasn't a bash thread but that's just what it is actually.

Because every once in a while craftsmen experience a personal loss, so we figure it's probably nicer to ask what's up than hound a widower (or the guy's widow), even if it's just one phone call?

I ordered a holster from him probably somewhere around the same time as the OP. I didn't receive a phone call, but the holster arrived in less time that I expected.
Based on my past experience with him, I think that a call to him might be in order. Definitely out of character.
