Default Haunted History on History Channel

Watching a segment which pertains to the Battle of Gettysburg and they are explaining the sightings of ghosts in the battlefield and the town. Since I only live about an hour away Gettysburg always has my interest and have spent countless hours there over the years.
In one scene (re-enactment) they are burying the dead Union soldiers. Much to my amazement there lies a .303 British Enfield next to the body!
Can’t these boneheads get anything right or was there really a time traveler supplying arms to the Union troops back then?

My 11 year old granddaughter loves to watch these ‘haunted’ TV shows to spot the tells that show how goofy and fake news they are.

She’s not expert in armaments so she didn’t pick up on the Enfield.

Mysteries at the Museum is another one that plays fast and easy with the stories, inaccurate weapons, uniforms and cars. The production values stink.

Just remember that the main purposes of the show are to sell advertising and get picked up next season.

I guess tonight the Finding Hitler program is over plus it must be getting close to the end for Oak Island, they’re advertising their next mission to find Confederate gold in Lake Michigan!
