If you've looked up Scarborough on the Internet (and knowing you, I'm sure you have), you know there's more to him than his uninformed or somewhat twisted views on guns and the Second Amendment.

I'm not taking up for him. Poke fun at him and his "sheepdip" all you wish. As you say, information on him is easy to find. He didn't get elected to Congress four times from Florida's 1st District...once with 72% of the vote...by being stupid. Unless maybe Florida voters in that district are dumber than the sand dollars found on the beach.

I also believe there is a mysterious death associated with him while in congress. Honestly though if you don't watch him or keep up with the things he says I can see how you wouldn't consider him a blithering idiot.

The talking heads of both sides have droned on for so long that many of the sheep have turned off thinking and listening and are now more susceptible to the propaganda being put out. It must be true if it’s on the tube or the internet. Many voters couldn’t pass a basic citizenship test and those are the educated ones. No, he’s not stupid. He’s a trained propagandist. He didn’t mis speak, he spoke what he knew would convey the message his cadre believes, and quite subtly revived the Vietnam war division that his leftist mentality has been selling whenever they feel it will energize the now aging population who screamed “baby killers!” back in their own heyday.

And as for where the elected representatives come from professionally, our Constitution was written in such simple terms so as to allow anyone the people elect to write and execute the law of the land. Untangling the unconstitutional is uncomfortable for the progressive leftist.

The way to combat this is to introduce firearms, hunting and the shooting sports to new people all the time. Offer to take someone to a shooting range or hunting and teach them about firearms and the safe handling of firearms. There are an estimated 35-55 million gun owners in the USA depending on what survey you read. If Just 1/4 of all gun owners would introduce shooting, hunting to someone new we would have 9-13 million new shooters every year. Don't complain just pass it on to the next generation of shooters, hunters and collectors!
