Default An intresting father's day

For what ever reason, me and the better half went to the local BMW dealer.
Now, don't need another BMW, but we ended up buying a 2011
328i.

And I keep asking what the heck do we need a car like that for?

We have a 2004 BMW 325i that I want to give to the grandson as a wedding present if he would only marry the girl he has been living with for over 5 years..
Let him drive it to Seattle and back over the last week.
His GF love's the car.
Maybe I'm putting too much pressure on him but he is 26 years old.
I was married at 26 with a child.

If you have peace to gift the young man with the car, I would suggest that you don't add any conditions to the gift-IF you are supposed to give it to him! JM2CW

I had a wonderful day. My kids took me out to a great Italian restraint near by. We have gone there 40 years. The owner passed away many years back but his wife & daughter still run the place. Excellent food & good service. Good Italian wine was served with dinner. All in all I'm a happy man. My BD I s tomorrow I will be 87.

Default My son gave me...

,, a card with a picture of an old car that ran good, just had a few exhaust issues.

We went to an Irish pub and restaurant and he had to go to bed early but before he turned in he said, "Happy Father's Day" so I'm very content.

I think you are, but maybe that's because I didn't get married until I was over 40.

I'm a inveterate book reader. Put a book in my hand and I'm off to my own little world. Science fiction, westerns, mysteries, anything by Sherilyn Kenyon and the list could go on. My eldest daughter came over with a book bag full of books.I figure that they will keep me busy for about two weeks. For supper we had thin cut pork chops, veggies and corn on the cob. Great supper. Great Fathers Day. Frank

Had a great day with a family gathering here at my place. My 13 month old great gran daughter was the star of the show.

My friend and I, both of us being childless and with all of our father figures having passed on, had a drink together in honor of our fathers who have passed on.

I hear you! I was married at 21 and first child came at 23...but todays kids are different.
Since he knows you want to make it a wedding present, stick to that. And if he doesn't get married he just won't get the car. It is what it is.
Beautiful car.
