A sad, but eventually uplifting, story...
They died on the same day in WWII, but were separated in death for seventy-four years.
They are together again now, as brothers should be.
If this doesn't bring a tear to your eye, there's something wrong with you.
Twins killed together during World War II finally reunited after 74 years.

Touching Story
On my visit to Colleville Sur Mer several years ago, I happened upon a set of brothers buried side by side. One had died on June 6th while the other was killed several months later. Colleville Sur Mer contains not only KIAs from the Normandy beaches but also soldiers killed during subsequent fighting.
Seeing the brothers side by side left me a momentary emotional wreck.

Wow. Some day I hope to visit the beaches of Normandy.
The story indicates they were killed during the initial invasion on June 6 but the headstone read June 19. I'm curious why the discrepancy on the date - did they go by the date they found/identified the first brother's body, perhaps?

Read the story again. It says they were killed when their landing craft hit a mine 13 days after D Day on June 6. So they died on June 19.
