New truck with NASCAR connection
Bought a new Tundra on July 4th and looking at the window sticker, the delivery destination was listed as Dover International Speedway. Found out from the sales manager it was one of the trucks they used to drive the drivers around the track standing in the bed waving to the crowd. The local dealer ship bought all of these and mine came with 11 miles on it . Kind of neat that the first miles were around the racetrack.

Sounds like a neat start for a great truck! I bought my ‘07 11 years ago, now pushing 130k miles. Best truck I have ever owned. It’s towed two different boats, and three travel trailers. My current TT weighs 7200 lbs loaded and the Tundra pulls it like it’s not even there.
If you happen to want to race a Ram, Ford or Chevy, put it into Tow/Haul Mode, engage the Auto LSD, and punch it! You’ll burn rubber and leave ‘em in the dust.....

Traded in a 2010 with 100,000+, had no doubt it had an easy another 100 grand in it, just wanted some of the new safety equipment. Be careful what you wish for, I now have more books than college physics class. One example, I can't use my bull bar because the sensor for the dynamic cruise control is in the Toyota emblem and the bar would cover it.

The local dealer had one on the lot that was originally delivered to the Loudon, NH Nascar track. Loaded. Nice truck.

I've been driving a 2011 since I bought it on 11/11/11. Other than routine maintenance I had to replace a burned out brake light and just last week the battery. 87K miles so far, no real problems.

A new Tundra, AND a NASCAR connection! Can't go wrong with that.
I still have my 2000 Tundra, 92,000 miles on it now. Best truck I ever had, and no plans to sell it, ever.

That's funny, NASCAR using a rice burner to shuffle people around, does it have one of those oversized mufflers too? jk, lol. I actually love Toyotas, congrats.
