Just wonder where in Cajun land you might be and if you have ever heard of a Musician called Bruce Daigrepont? Been listening to some of his music on you tube and just love his sound.

I have not but that doesn't mean anything....... I reside and practice law within a stone's throw of Bayou Teche. The St. Mary Courthouse is on the banks of the Teche and is where I do the bulk of my work but I spend a lot of time at the New Iberia and St. Martinville Courthouses as well. When in New Iberia I often eat at Victor;s cafeteria which is where Dave Robicheaux eats as well If you are in the area and see a 1999 navy blue Suburban with two 2x4's on the top (cheapo boat racks) honk and wave

Victor’s is a great place to eat. Gumbo and Collard greens on the steam table. Ate there a lot when we were building the Alaska oil field modules in New Iberia.

Saw Bruce Daigrepont back in the early 90's at Tipitina's in NOLA. Good traditional cajun tunes. May I suggest Zachary Richard, Beaujolais, and Balfa Toujours for more good tunes.
