Got back from Billings Mt today after having esophageal ultra sound and PET/CT scan for my cancer. Took effort to spend a bit of time at the museum at the airport Yellowstone airport. Been in it before and it looks small for the outside but has quite a bit of stuff and is always changing. They have an excellent American Indian display and it is always changing as well. They had a chuckwagon display from the 1800's from a working MT ranch. A rifle display for ML to early repeaters of the west to military including an early M-1 Separate room for Billings baseball was new as the Billings Mustangs have been a farm team for the Cincy Reds for decades. Dave McNally was from Billings and a H.O.F. and WS champion from The Orioles. Schedules in the future will be a huge S&W display form a private collector. If your in Billings take the time to stop and see what is out. This time they had a "ghost dance" display and is the only one know to have been displayed in North America. An hour or 2 and I think it is worth it. It is free and only asks for donations. Oh they had a Tom Frye display too with many of his targets shot and records he set. (think Remington Nylon 66)
