OPEN THE COOLERS THE BROWNS WON!!
Cleveland Browns 21, New York Jets 17
Baker Mayfield took over at QB for the Browns from Tyrod Taylor who went into the concussion observation. The locked beer coolers will now open all over Cleveland and the patrons there will get free beer.

Surprised indeed! I had the Browns picked on the pool. Beginning of the 2nd quarter the score was Jets 14 Browns 3, they just kicked a field goal. The defense must have stepped up after that for the score to end up like it did. I turned off the game , I figured the Jets would win. Must have been a good game.

I saw most of the game(2nd quarter to the end) and Mayfield was the difference. Yes, the defense tightened some, but it appeared to me that when Mayfield came in they switched to the same hurry-up offensive scheme that he excelled at at Oklahoma, and this put New York back on their heels. He plays with fire and complete confidence in his abilities, which are extensive. The game became fun to watch when he came in.
Regards,
Andy
P.S. Now they will have a QB controversy in Cleveland -leave the winner in, or return to the starter when he's able to return.

So all is forgiven?
Both QB's last night have great potential and a lot to learn.
Good to see the Browns win despite uniforms like leftover Halloween candy.

I was in Cleveland when the owner moved the team to Baltimore
Cleveland was collective bummed when it was announced
The new franchise has been a severe disappointment

I don't follow football. Back in 80s was working in Cleveland and
living in a motel. A roof shingle company had a premotion, send
in the seals off shingle wrapper and get a jacket with NFL logo.
I got a Bengals jacket because they where same color as my
home town hi school team. We go home on weekends and go
back to motel on Sunday afternoon to get a good nights sleep.
Motel had lounge. We went over for a couple beers, the football
crowd had place packed. Browns to the bone, then I begin to
draw stares. The Browns were playing the Bengals. I felt like
General Custer and didn't know what was going on. They clued
me in and I never wore Bengal jacket to Cleveland again.

I think I have a story along those lines. Almost three years ago I had to go to Johns Hopkins Hospital in downtown Baltimore for a heart catherization. It was in the dead of winter and really cold so I wore my insulated Cleveland Browns coat. The whole time I was in the hospital I was really feeling agitated and anxious. It turned out that I was in the Arthur Modell (aka Art Modell, the former Browns owner who tried to sneak them out of Cleveland to go to Baltimore) Cardiac Unit. No wonder I was feeling anxious!
My brother, who was with me at the time, still lives in northeast Ohio. He told me that whenever he told that story, everybody just roars.

According to the NFL you can stay in the locker room and come out after the Anthem, no kneeling. I feel sorry for the Jets but really don’t care. Since last year I do something more enjoyable then watching the NFL. I can remember Jim Brown playing, what a shame. Larry

The Browns looked like a different team with Mayfield at QB.
Taylor was not getting it done....he would have likely been benched
at half-time.
Good game.

You can bet that Tomlin, Harbaugh and Lewis watched Mayfield and thought: "uh-oh!"

It was a wild game, particularly when Baker Mayfield scored the 2 point conversion off the wildcat snap to the running back in motion who handed it to the wide receiver on the reverse for the pass to Mayfield.

Great performance by Mayfield, and good to see the Browns Win one.
But they were not playing a great team.

Taylor will not be back, as a starter that is. The fans would lynch Browns management.

How about to express a total lack of interest?
Some folks have no interest in Glock pistols, Buffalo Bore ammo, single stack magazines, or the CMP 1911s. Sure doesn't stop 'em from commenting, though.

after the old browns moved to maryland the new browns have the worst nfl record since 1999 so they're not a great team either.
regardless it's tough to win in the nfl and a win is a win.

A "fine" Women I knew at Work was a die hard Browns fan, no matter what, she was always routing(or rooting) for them even though she knew it was hopeless
Man she looked good on dress down day with a Browns Jersey!
Alas we both were married and what could have been!

It is terrible, isn't it? How could folks not care about a large caliber black polymer frame pistol? Or ammo made with little or no quality control? Or even those beat up ol' rattletrap clunker .45s the CMP is trying to foist off on unsuspecting buyers?!? Something's just not right.
It's beyond my comprehension. Just unthinkable.

As usual I don't miss many NFL games.
Last night was really enjoyable, Browns won and Jets lost.
I think I seen the ghost of Lou "The Toe" Groza in the stands.

Even though I live in PA, it's right where the marketing areas for the Steelers, Eagles and Vultures, I mean Ravens come together. We have the NFL Sunday ticket at the American Legion and I make sure to wear my Browns jersey (#76 Lou Groza) to watch the Browns game.

ASN Aircraft accident Lockheed C-141B Starlifter 65-9405 Namibia
In 1997 I lost friends who were serving our country. A USAF C-141B was hit in flight by a German aircraft flying at the wrong altitude, and the crew was conscious and aware the whole time during their uncontrolled decent from 35,000' until impact with the ocean. I listened to the CVR; I will never forget it.
That C-141 sits at the bottom of the ocean right now, with an American flag on each side of the tail. There's an American flag on the sleeves of all the crew members that died that night too.
NFL doesn't get a moment of my time, support, or money.
