Got into the show right at opening. Browsed around and found some pretty nice guns. Lots of the usual plastic, but I think because I got in so early, there was more vintage iron. Usually I go to a show later on the first day or on Sunday and things seem a little picked over. The highlight of the show for me was meeting fellow forum member merlindrb (Dave Ballantyne). He had several nice Smith revolvers, including a very early M&P pre model 10 in great condition. If the gentleman who was looking at had passed on it, I would have taken it home. I did make a trade with him for this nice model 66-4 4-inch. My only .357 at this point had been my Ruger SP-101 snub, so I’ve been looking for a 19 or 66 shooter. Now I’ve got to find some good grips for it. I’m thinking stag.
