Talking Prayers needed

Gonna need some help tonight guys. Gonna attack the 6 pound burrito diablo tonight at the casino. I'm either gonna get it for free or I'm gonna have one hell of a breakfast on the left overs after mass tomorrow morning

My favorite quote seems appropriate here:

“What an endlesse maze of errour, what an intolerable hell of torments and afflicti∣ons hath this wicked Gluttonie brought the world unto! And yet, wretched men that we are, we have no minde to get out of it, but like silly Animals led by the chaps, go on all day long, digging our Graves with our Teeth, till at last we bring the Earth over our heads much before we otherwise need to have done.”

Leonardus Lessius, 1554-1623.

That's a bit too gloomy for me...no offense.

I prefer Oscar Wilde:

"I can resist everything but temptation."

Add nacho sliced jalapenos. They will act as afterburners in the morning. They are high in Vitamin C too.

I should have known that if YOU had a prayer request, it'd be for something like this...

Well, good luck, anyway.

As a Texan, I'm careful not to eat oversized burritos, lest they represent Santa Anna's Revenge.

Don't forget to light a candle tomorrow, & I don't mean in church. Save room for some ice cream for desert, so you can pray "COME ON ICE CREAM" at church. YOU CAN DO IT!

In 1974 I was a guest at the Hog's Breath restaurant in Carmel, California, then owned by Clint Eastwood. Premier dinner entrée was a 64-oz. Porterhouse steak served with a baked potato about the size of a football (oozing butter, sour cream, chives, bacon bits), with a salad served in a soup tureen. If you could finish the meal it was free. I gave it my best shot, but I did not eat for free that evening.

Now, 44 years later, 4 lbs. of prime beef would make dinner for my wife and me for a week or two.

Your 6 lb. Burrito Diablo sounds about right for lunch, every day for a week or so.

Enjoy! Take a designated driver, too.

This awkward silence is diagnostic of a condition called "retrograde food coma." Give generously, so that others may avoid this terrible fate.

Would you eat this six-pound burrito? Here's where you can try.

I did a little research, and near as I can figure, this is it:

Those days for me are over, I used to try similar competitions and was successful a few times, but I was playing football and could eat anything without gaining an ounce of weight. Now I only need to see the food and the pounds appear, to say nothing of the digestive struggle. I do not even eat what the wife and kids waste on their plates. You are a better man than me for trying.

I wonder what happened to Gary.

He maybe sitting out the morning and afternoon and not able to post his results.

Went out this morning, and thought low tide had something to do with the smell.

Checked out the weather stats and the wind was coming in from the West.

That's it. I got through about a quarter then it was "No Mas" Probably could have done better it I laid off the basket of chips and salsa beforehand
It's tastin'pretty good right now in front of the computer however
Problem was it was all beans and rice and ground meat-a sludge which proved insurmountable. If they had used shredded chicken or fajita beef it would have made for a tastier burrito but what do you expect????
Oh and the fine print says ya got to eat it in 20 minutes I said screw that, I'm just gonna eat until full and bring it home.
If I can figure out how to post my iphone picture I will.
Night wasn't a whole loss however, I won $200 at the dice table

"6 pound burrito diablo"

I'd have to move out for three days and live in the hunt camp. Problem with that is the outhouse pit is only 5 feet deep...

Thank you for the update. I didn't sleep well last night, wondering how this turned out.

I may have to come down there and give it a whirl myself.

Man! Only a quarter!?

Typical laweyer.

Six pounds!
With the chips and salsa, that is very close to the weight of a US Military M4 Carbine. Or, a brace of Super Blackhawks.
Bon Appetit!!

Best,
Rick
