First, let me express the appreciation my family holds for all of you who have offered condolences. The outpouring of support at this time has been overwhelming, both on this forum and from friends in our area.

I'm going to show you some pictures.

This is the actual aircraft that crashed:

This is the wreckage of the plane, pulled from the house it crashed into:

Here is the plane being hauled away:

Here is the crash scene in Payson, AZ, photographed by me a couple of days ago. The young lady at the far right is my granddaughter, one of my deceased daughter's two children. You can see the devastation; the nose of the plane dug a crater in the foundation of the house over six feet deep.

We were able to view my daughter's remains before her cremation. The body was badly mangled and an autopsy had been performed, so they draped her remains in a quilt, with only her right hand showing. It was badly scarred and bruised.

I would not wish this whole thing to happen to anyone.

Again, thanks for your support.

John

John,

So sorry for your family's loss. We lost a 27 year old daughter who was serving in the US Navy at the time. We've never really gotten over it.
We all just carry on as best we can.

We don’t ever get over losses they linger with us for the rest of out lives.
But I feel our loved ones and friends move on to the next life.

When one suffers a long illness we know the outcome sooner or later it’s hard on us eventually we expect it. But when they go quickly they didn’t suffer but we really feel the brunt of the loss suddenly.

Very sorry to hear. You are very right, if you love someone never let an opportunity pass to let them know it.

Our prayers are with you!
