for four of our areas fine youth as they were bring lead out in cuffs.
First notice of them was when they came in with several guns they were trying to sell. As they progressed someone ran a s/n check and low and behold one of them showed up as stolen. Security was rounded up and the four were observed running their disappearing gun trick. Keep the seller/sellers busy at the other end of the table while one of them picked up a gun and looked at it. Instead of putting it down, it would be almost laid down then slipped behind their back where the other person got it and tucked it away and made for the door.
Must have warmed the hearts of several other table holders from the clapping and whistles that came out. Glad I was there to watch. Haven't heard what they have been charged with but I will let yall know if I find out.

i've had a kimber pistol, a springfield armory rifle scope, and misc parts stolen at gun shows, i have zero sympathy for thieves!
glad they got caught and i hope they are fully prosecuted!

There are a few crooks out there. Once bought a really nice Garand from a fellow who had a good looking babe handling the money and she did a slight of hand thing with the hundred dollar bills trying to say I still was short 100. Things got tense until he told her to drop the hustle. He knew she was busted and had a table full of for sale guns with too many people watching.

One wonders if our "revolving door" justice system and/or light penalties contribute to this problem. In grad school I was always taught that criminal behavior was always preceded by a cost-benefit analysis. These days, perhaps the rewards far exceed the risks. I've seen unedited video of what they do with thieves in some areas in Africa. In short, an angry mob chases them down the street, bashes their head in, and then douses the semi conscious fetal-positioned person with gasoline and sets them alight. I'd wager that if such took place here, thieves would find a new profession very quickly. Just sayin

I have no tolerance for a thief. My dad always told me if a person steals from you they will lie to you and visa versa. That was over 60 years ago and I still remember it.

Swift justice works wonders.

Many years ago, when I was living in the DC area, there were 2 or 3 news reports a day of car-jacking in the city. One day, two unlucky guys decided to car-jack the vehicle being drive by an FBI agent. They pulled a gun on him and forced him out the the car. He then proceeded to shoot them both dead. The next day the news media complained about the two poor individuals being killed by police use of excessive force. However, the over all effect was great - there wasn't an attempted car-jacking in DC for the next 8 months!

I was walking into a gun show at an armory when a misguided youth came dashing out the door with a stolen S&W 44 magnum. He didn’t get far before he got a dose of street justice.

Looked like reasonable force to me.

They could at least cut him a little slack for having good taste in guns. At least he didn't swipe a Glock or one of the many Glockoid pistols.

You don’t have to go to the UK for that experience. I walked into a brewpub named Oliver’s in Baltimore in the mid 90’s. Oliver prided himself on serving his beer at 58 degrees. And I was referring to cheese that’s not supposed to be moldy, like queso dip and good ole American . . .
