'Tis the season...
...to check your tyre pressures and get your flu shot.
Had to up the pressures on my SUV by 3 PSI last week when the temps dropped by 15°. Now it rolls on instead of just stopping when I lift off.  Should save a fortune on gas.
Wife and I both got our flu shots yesterday, at different places due to different employers and health plans. Both of us associate either directly or indirectly with those unlicensed, treaty breaking, biological warfare delivery systems, or children as some folk call them. Not getting a shot would be foolish, especially in a tourist place like Vegas.

Just put the vette away. Filled up with no-ethanol, inflated tires to 38 psi to hopefully avoid flat spots (normal is 30), plugged in battery tender.

Flu shot scheduled for next week.
Tyre pressure is Ruthie's job as she is much closer to the valve stems than I am.

Did air pressure check on the boat trailer and Ole Red (the truck) in anticipation of a fishing trip soon. Flu shots need to be scheduled, probably tomorrow.

No thread hijacking intended here, okay?
Speaking of "'Tis the season", I was in a Lowe's two days ago. First thing you see when entering the store is the huge display of Halloween decorations...ghoulish figures, giant spiders, cobwebs, pumpkins, you name it, right?
But my Weird-O-Meter redlined when I looked one row over and saw the shelves packed with Christmas lights, fully decorated fake Christmas trees, and all the other geegaws and doodads associated with that holiday.
Does the term "crass commercialism" sound familiar?
I'd surely hate to be under the influence of alcohol or some other substance and wander into a scene like that.
