My wife and I are in Washington DC this week to keep our grandson while my daughter and SNL are out of town....went to one of the DC Walmarts yesterday and it was like being on another planet.....of course all of DC seems to be another world compared to Tn and the fly-over states. Point I'm gettin to is "Walmart people" at home in Tn seem to be pretty normal, here in DC not-so-much.....weird to the maximum & seems very few here speak or understand english (or maybe it's my southern accent ).
Love being with my grandson, but looking forward to getting back to Tn and normal folks.

Beg to differ
The folks around these parts in Wal-Mart seem pretty normal to me. Course, I don't hang out there at 2 am.
Bought some paint, brushes and assorted stuff to paint the window trim last week and some work pants to wear while I do it.
And a few weeks back picked up a Savage 62F for $99. Shoots like a charm.
Maybe it's my background as a newspaperman - I'm used to eccentrics and rather like watching them although I must reiterate at the Wal-Marts in my area I see very few.
Truth be told, it's one of my favorite places to shop.

We shop @ Walmart regularly and have never seen anything unusual. I’m guessing it has less to do w/where we live (lots of nutty stuff happens here) but when we go. No weekends or nights, ever!!

Our local wally world just put in one way gates at all entrances. Seems too many people were walking out the door with full carts of food and not paying. From what I've heard this has become a common occurance. At the exits they check the cash register tapes to make sure you've paid. Frank
