Soften Pachmayrs
I have a set of K frame Presentations that are hard. Is there anyway to soften them?

I've used pure spirit gum turpentine to good effect on door/hood/trunk/window seals on older cars and trucks. It softens them up for many more years of use.
I would take the Pachs off first, then give it a try, probably without getting the turpentine on the inner surfaces.

Honestly, I can't tell if this is a joke or you are serious.
Either way, if you attempt this... ensure you have no grip screw or nut from the other side of the grip installed. Metal stuff in the microwave isn't a good plan.

Years ago we would soak the used rubber weatherstripping over night in diesel before installing a windshield. We would clean the rubber with hot soapy water before installing.

Some Pachmayers of mine have a steel plate insert in them, one on each side. I don't know if they all have that, or if some don't.

No promises here, but back when I was an SCCA amateur racer some folks would soften their tires to gain traction. It might work for grips. Google how to soften racing tires if you are curious. Seems turpentine was a prime ingredient.

Hahaha I have this cartoon image in my head of a handgun squirting out of your hand as if it had been carved from a wet bar of soap! I’m thinking Armor All would make it shiny and slippery!

Sorry, it’s a joke. Was following the meat tenderizer post. I forgot the smiley face.
To avoid sparks, however, putting the grips in boiling water for a few minutes might work.

I have a set for a Charter Bulldog in .44. Never shot it with them. They DO feel quit “springy”.
The Pachs are like new just hard.
