I need a new homepage. Help?
Been using MSN for a homepage for ages. But lately, they keep going blank and posting a notice that says, aw, snap! We can't show the page right now. Affects YouTube, too. Or shows, This Page is Unavailable Right Now.
I want a Homepage that gives basic international news. Fox has also disappointed; I use it on IE, which will soon no longer be supported by Google or Microsoft. What are some good sites that give the day's news and celeb features?
My primary browser now is Chrome. If I lose them for awhile, I go to IE.

I just started using Protopage. You can customize it to your liking. Seems to work okay.

Maybe you should try news.google.com
It will show you headlines, world news, us news, technology, entertainment, sports, local headlines, your local weather, and stories recommended for you. The stories recommended for you shows you news about things that you've shown an interest in online in the past.

That's not a full link. May be Google News ? Yeah, that worked, but they're too sparse on pictures.

Well, I don't want my head in the sand so I do want news! But I went there and liked the story on the young woman having her first drink in the pub where she was born!
This may be my choice. What else is out there?

Interesting comment. I tend to go for information over flashy presentation. I think it's a bleedover from my job.
Frankly, I'd sooner give myself a vasectomy with a dull spoon than have MSN or most other alleged news sites as a homepage.

I think Google News is a good suggestion for someone who likes news. I read a couple of national newspapers but like to check Google News for the variety of sources.
For more pix and celebrity news....? I dunno. Maybe a magazine focused on celebrities? People Magazine’s homepage or something like that?
I use Google Advanced Search for my homepage so that when I want to look up anything it’s handy.
