Ruthie's birthday
is today.
Having worked last night she is currently asleep. When she wakes I will have a pot of tea on and a bowl of brown sugar/maple oatmeal (her favorite) for her. I also have a gift card for dinner for two at Olive Garden (again, a favorite of hers).
She doesn't work tonight so the kids and all the grandkids will pile in later bearing gifts and praise.
It will be a grand evening.
I married way above my pay grade.
I ain't complaining.

I married way above my pay grade also. We celebrate 49 years of marriage today and she has been with me through some very dark times, PTSD, depression. She was always there for me and I tried to do the same for her.
