We had a does of spring last Friday at 78°F. Killed five scorpions on the back wall after the sun went down. Yip-freakin'-ee

Our native azaleas are starting to bloom, but the rivers are everywhere. Have already seen a copperhead.

It's been persisting down here, too. Forecast has a storm stalled off the West coast, so we can expect more.

Been dry and in the high 70's to low 80's here.

Perfect riding weather...as soon as all the Bike Week nuts have gone back home.

It's high 60s in Oklahoma City and supposed to hit 78 Thursday, I think winter is over and everything is greening up pretty quickly.

My wife and I went for a nice 5 mile hike on our favorite mountain trail yesterday. It was supposed to get up to 67 partly cloudy degrees but instead it got up to 83 sunny degrees. Beautiful day for our first hike of the year.

That's a great way to spend a sunny afternoon. It was just like that here yesterday, and I spent my afternoon exactly as you did.

Well, got the yard work done and the grill all cleaned up and ready to go. And of course it started raining. Looks like I'll be grilling under an umbrella later on. I'm gonna eat me a steak come hell or high water.

Sunday I cut the grass for the first time this season. Then repainted the garage door that evening. This morning I repainted the patio French doors and did a spot of spring cleaning. Upper 70s today, and the forecast shows similar all week.

I've declared winter as officially over by moving the snow blower from the garage to the storage shed. Didn't use it even once this year and that's a good thing in my book.

You can have all of them, I have waaaay too many. Chewed the wires on my truck, Ole Red. Now the wipers only work at one speed. Another thing that I have to repair.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

A snowblower is one tool when you buy it, you hope you never have to use it.

I played 18 holes of golf yesterday with friends. Virtually all of the snow is gone and it’s pleasant an sunny again today, but the snowblower is staying right where it is.

I remember driving home in a blizzard after a steelhead fishing trip. What’s normally a 3-1/2 hour drive took us 9 hours. It was early April and there was 18” of snow on the ground when it finally stopped.

That’s Michigan for you!

Chilly yesterday and calling for the same with rain tomorrow...........

Both Boys are at the U of Pittsburgh (Sr and Freshman), currently home on spring break, which yesterday announced it's going to "remote learning"...... extended spring break from the 16th until the 23rd.

Who would have "thunk it!"

Just getting use to the empty nest thing

But today mostly sunny and in the 60s... so......Barbie again tonight.

We had a very mild winter this year even thought they said we were going to get pounded with snow.

I groom snowmobile trails Jan-March and never ever started the snowcat this year.

I stepped out the other morning and it had rained a bit during the night.

With the smell of the rain and wet sagebrush in the air I thought I'd died and gone to heaven.

That's like saying when you buy a zero turn mower you hope you never have to use it.
