A Fishing story
Here is a link to a fishing experience I recently had in New Zealand. The motel owner put it on his blog. Need something a little lighthearted now. Enjoy.

Great story and nice Tilly! I like that TRM refers to you as an inmate.

I have very fond memories of fishing Lake Taupo. Black Swans, steam rising from vents in the hills, clean water, pumice rocks floating down a river, and great Rainbow Trout. Took several back to the motel and they cooked them for dinner for us. The motel had a swimming pool that was thermal heated, essentially a big hot tub. The people were just great. Just a wonderful experience.

What I'd give to have seen a picture of that Maori boy swimming back across the river while holding the fish up with one hand! A mental image to make me smile this morning. Thanks!

Unfortunately I didn't think to take a picture, they did take the picture of me.
Doublesharp, the Tilley has been my faithful companion on many adventures, still looks like new, I had hoped it would acquire a more seasoned look.
