Good news out of the NFL
Yes, two good stories.
Drew Brees donates $5 million to Covid 19 relief in LA.
Superman, aka Cam Newton, gets set adrift by the hapless Panthers.
I told you, two good stories

Good for Brees!
Now for the other story. IMO, Mr. superman lost his way and forgot how to be a team player. What a waste of talent. I'll leave it at that.
No I won't! Just cause you got money don't mean you got fashion sense. Everyone knows that scarf ain't in his color wheel!

Good to see professional athletes stepping up like this. Several in the NBA are doing similar things. (E.g, the 19 YO phenom Zion Williamson offering to pay the salaries of his New Orleans home court’s stadium workers for a month.)

Drew is a true class act and my respect for him just grew.
On a sad note, Globetrotter great Curly Neal passed today.

Drew class act...
Hope Cam has saved some $$.
He will be # two on some teams line up.
No big buck contact coming.

I can hear the Dallas Cowboy fans now, screaming, "No, Jerry, NO!!"

I've heard of several busnesses and individuals......

...making large to sometimes ultimate sacrifices for others. This makes me feel a lot better toward the human race than I have been feeling. Though I still consider that many are showing more greed and selfishness.
That's too bad about Curly. I'd seen him before and he was amazing.

Story #1: In one word, “Awesome”.
Story #2:
What’s to become of Cam? I hear New England has a position open.

Cam should have played LB if he wanted to hit people.

Cam has never recovered from having his big ego bubble burst in Superbowl 50 by Von Miller and the Broncos.
