Good Times Social Distancing
Perfect sunny 80 degree day to practice some social distancing.
I stayed well beyond 6 foot from everyone. Made one gas stop, and used mass hand sanitizer after. Even wiped my wallet down with alcohol when I got home.

No biking for me. Not in this weather.
Sunny Portugal is not so sunny right now.
But we do need the rain.
Edit. Can you spot the difference?
This picture was taken last Month.

Gonna change the fluids and detail my H-D Ultra Classic for riding this up coming week. It's probably one of the safer things to do outside the house as far as the Pandemic is concerned. The roads are also much safer now since there is very little traffic these days. Haven't ridden since December.

How about some pictures of your bike.
Ya know everybody loves pictures, right?
And... just to be coherent.
My present ride. Kawasaki Z900RS.
For the youngsters it is a piece of the past. For me it is a I piece of cherished nostalgia. It is me on the left corner, in the summer of 1989, shortly before I traded my beloved Z1 for a GSXR1100 crotch rocket.
Edit. fixed the Z900Rs picture. I was getting tired of it looking like an hill climbing queen.

Went for my first "spring" ride yesterday. A short jaunt of 8 or so miles. Part of the regular routine of checking all the lights, making sure bolts are still torqued to specs and changed the oil. Finally ready to go for the year! It might be slow start however. Weather here is still pretty cool, if we hit 50 degrees (with the sun shining) right now we're lucky!

About to head out to the church. We will of course not have a regular morning worship service with everyone gathered together. But, I will go to the sanctuary, do some songs on the guitar and then share a brief Palm Sunday message. This will be recorded and sent out through the church Facebook page. Then, I'll walk around the sanctuary and the church grounds praying for my church family and the residents of our city. Then, a church family has invited me to lunch on their front porch! That will allow us to maintain our prescribed social distance while at least having the pleasure of sharing a meal and fellowship one with another. This afternoon I'll get out and do my normal five mile routine of jogging, etc. Sincerely. bruce.

Be careful you guys riding bikes or doing anything on the streets. With the roads almost empty some drivers are driving less aware of their surroundings. I almost got side swiped Friday from a distracted driver drifting out of her lane. She was messing with something on her passenger seat until I hit the horn.

Here are a few quick shots I just took. It's in a tight space in the garage so this is the best I can do until I take her out to clean her up next week.

Thanks! Its a 2008 Ultra Classic FLHTCU that I bought new in 2008. It has just under 30K on it. I still ride on a regular basis but use to ride more often and take more road trips. I'm 66 now and still in good health but will probably sell it in a few years - don't want to push my luck as I age. It's been a faithful Bike!

I started riding at 15, had a Bike in College and then went without one until my late 40's when I got back into it. This will be my last 2 wheeler. When I do sell it a few years down the road, I might get an antique car from the late 40's or early 50's.

It's been in the mid-50's a few days here so we've leathered-up and made a few country cruises so far. It may be the only thing that's keeping the lovely bride from going banana-wacko on me.

Started again early last winter, got a couple rides till snow/salted again yesterday. Also might have messed up attaching the pic of 2015 48 sporty.
We are under safer at home order, but are officially encouraged to use the state parks. Course to use em, ya gotta get there. Any road out of this thriving megalopolis leads to a city, village, county state or fed park.

The 48 is one of my favorite offerings from Harley. Love the seat you put in it.

Was in bad health when i retired. Took a year to get back some strength and so glad i retired as soon as possible, even on minimum income. Ya can't buy time, and might be my last chance to enjoy a motorcycle.
Kurusu-My first ride was a Harley 73 xlch. Kick start, 4 speed, right hand shift, no oil filter and a true vibrating machine. This one has electric start, efi, rubber mount engine, 5 speed and belt drive. However, the rear suspension need a little help. Especially for the type of roads up here. Ride safe

My friend had one. It was a great little bike. He let me ride it as long as I didn't do any big jumps with it.
I'm surprised I remembered what it was. I forgot why I went in the bedroom just now.
