Thank you. It all went smoothly. It was just my day as every single member of the hospital staff had a sense of humor and were all in good moods. I had a captive audience.
My wire leads were in almost new condition so they just replaced my ICD with a smaller, smarter model. I got to watch the procedure by having a mirror over my head. They let me talk, too. In hindsight making the surgeon laugh may not have been my smartest move ever.
I am fully charged for another 9-10 years.
It's a big weight off my shoulders.
