Default An experiment.

I rarely wear anything that denotes my political or firearms affiliations as I don't want to call attention to myself. I had an appointment yesterday to have my surgeon check my incision at his office.

I knew it would not be crowded so I decided to wear my S&W cap to see if anyone noticed. No one did except the nurse at the registration desk as we were sitting eye-to-eye.

She said: "cute cap. Does it have something to do with boats?"

"No ma'am..It's a company that makes hole punchers."

"how nice."

I'm surprised then that she didn't say, "Can I get staplers and paper products too?" Insert your best Barbie voice here.

It's a conspiracy! They make boats, and we keep losing our firearms in boating accidents, so we have to buy more!

Yes, she thought it had an anchorish/nautical look to it.

She is in her 40's and had a voice like Martha Raye.

See your picture makes me think that six months ago, if you walked in a bank, any armed guard would have shot you upon entry! If nothing else, just on principle!

I had an older version of that hat but after 15 years the inereds of the brim were almost completely naked, the wife salvaged the logo and pitched the hat.

Rusty, shame on you. Nurse Nancy is likely to really liven things up the next time she makes an Office Depot run.

Of course it's a company that makes boats. Haven't you heard of Shady-White?

I often thought the S&W logo had sort of a nautical look to it.

I have 2 pieces of gun related clothing. A Knight's Armament T shirt and this... courtesy of Rags.

It's nowhere near this nice anymore but has gotten me a "Nice hat" from the gal at the local grocery.

Thumbs down MASKS

Well I refuse to wear one except the doctors office. That being said, there is a LAW on the books that it agaist the law for an adult to wear a mask in public. Still waiting for some idiot to stop me on the street or elsewhere about not wearing a mask. Dont care who it might be. Should be interesting.

I hear ya Rusty, I used to wear NRA caps over a decade ago on occasion and just wasn't worth it for the commentary or publicly acknowledging interests.

That may be so in Virginia, but we get more dust storms over here in the desert.
