Well, according to Wikipedia, The Michelin Man ("Bibendum" in the original French) is 126 now, and that's closing in on immortality. Based on the 1898 poster below, I'd say he looks better now than he did then.

Geez... all this typing comments and I forgot to say "Happy Birthday" to the OP. I must be getting old.

And from mine to yours. According to my records I adopted this one (a 19-4) on June 10, 2016.

Had a great smelling cigar decades ago can’t find it today.

Birthdays are like pesky bugs I wish they would go away, or slow them down. I’m getting older way too fast. At 69 yo way too old.

Remember what Alice Cooper sang about: ".. I'm 8 T, and I like it..."

Well... Since it is already "tomorrow" now.

Happy Birthday to you too!

Perhaps I'm missing something obvious here, but why would you want to find a decades-old cigar?

Default Belated happy birthday

Happy belated B-day model 19.
I turned 60 this year. I was worried about how I would feel at 60 when I was 50.
I don't worry about such trivial things anymore.
If life is a mountain, I believe there is no point where we go downhill. At some point the mountain just gets steeper and rockier.
We all have a limited time here among those people and things we love. make the most of every day god blesses you with.

Good points. Been there, done that. sort of, but I've been pretty much ignoring the numbers since I was 50. The only time it bothers me is when the numbers don't ignore ME.

I think you're right. A few years ago I was watching a video of an older gentleman (I think he was 104) and he said when he's laying in bed and experiencing aches and pains his advice was to just get up and do something. I always make up for it with a nap later on in the day but the fact is I'm used to the routine now and actually look forward to the nap more than that couple extra hours of sleep in the morning.

To add, you will always be two months older than me.

So, I've got that going for me.

Which is nice.
