"Missing 411: The Hunted: Heads Up
If you have access to Amazon Prime, you’ll want to watch "Missing 411—The Hunted." This is a documentary about scores of missing people, mostly hunters who have apparently disappeared in clusters. That is, individual hunters missing at different times but in a specific area. These are not usually city hunters but often local farmers and residents who knew the woods where they went missing. These clusters of missing hunters are all over the country, especially out west but the first episode starts in the Adirondacks, in NYS.
Hunters and anyone else spending time in the big woods should consider watching this presentation. It is slow at times but educational and worth viewing.

Paul, I hunt with Bill and the good ol’ boys. They haven’t disappeared this Yankee in the woods yet.
I haven’t solo hunted in five years.

That's because we have adopted you and declared you an honorary southerner.
We still know where a couple of open wells are for those who don't adapt.

Intergalactic space time NAZI saucer drivers. I did a lot of bird hunting alone, but not big game.

Over the years I’ve hunted all over the land.
Saw and heard strange things but none of us ever disappeared.
One time my buddy Russ took several of us up to the UP.
Michigan Upper Peninsula.
It was cold so I wore the warmest coat I had which was a issue AF Parka.
When Russ’s Dad and Uncle saw it they went berserk !
You look like a Bear! It did have fur on the hood.
I wore one of their jackets.
But I survived Michigan.
And a bunch of other places!

Good hunting is generally found In the roughest areas, easy to disappear in that kind of country. Some people disappear on purpose as well I think.

What were they hunting with, slingshots?
I'd feel a lot safer from abduction hunting in the woods with my S&W 460 XVR 14" than in some gun-free urban area. At least I'd be able to defend myself.
But then, even a vigilant hunter watching out for the slightest movement or silhouette, or listening for the slightest rustle can get surprised. And there would be no witnesses. Sound of distant gunshots during hunting season would be considered normal.
Now you've got my interest piqued. Good thing today's a holiday. I can watch it right now.

I got through about a half hour and had to stop. Then skipped the boring stuff to see the findings of the first case, and was so disappointed.
