The NFL and you
I am banning the NFL from my life. This is due solely to their position on various national issues.
If you want additional information, you will have to do the research yourself.
Thanks,
Doug

I would rather watch tumbleweeds grow as the NFL... & I hate tumbleweeds.

They have been dead to me since "kneeling".

Same here. Lots and lots of reasons.
I think all professional sports need to remember they us far more than we need them.

Let them-and their sponsors-know in writing your position.

Did not know we had TWO National Anthems.
Isn't re-education great?
I'll bet re-education will be such a great success they might even open up camps for those of us who will resist kneeling when the Star Spangled Banner is played.

Yup, die-hard football fan for 50 years. Threw in the towel on the NFL a few years ago. I'll get my gridiron fix from college ball until they find a way to run me off.

I have been tired of the on and off the field antics for many years by supposed professional athletes that many consider to be role models.
I was done when kneeling stated. Now I’m really done.
Politics and sports should not mix.

I was told it was the No Fun League when I came here over 20 years ago.

For me it was my long-time team never making a serious effort to get any better, the growing need for 'look at me' histrionics after every play, and yes, the kneeling thing. Surprisingly, I don't miss it a bit.

I quit MLB after the 2nd strike. And I was the most die hard Cards fan there was since I was 10 years old. Got sent to the principal's office in 5th grade because Gibson was pitching that day (back when the World Series was during the daytime) and I told my teacher we needed to find a TV and watch it. The principal didn't see it my way either.
The NBA quit enforcing the dribble rule which is the backbone of basketball. Quit that a good while back. Haven't watched an NFL game in 3 years since the kneeling started.
I can honestly say I don't miss a thing about them and have more time for hobbies and g'kids.

Yes. I miss when real men played football. Men with class and respect. Bart Starr, Len Dawson, Johnny Unitas, Roger Staubach......
But what do I know.

I've added NASCAR to the list too.
