Default Going to gun show Saturday.....

Well....Going to the Fletcher GS Saturday and I have no clue about what to expect.
Will it be packed with overblown pricing or will it be normal?
Circus or SOS?
Looking for a shotgun, but hope I find a good price.
Will report later.

My guess...overpriced handguns, and probably not much reasonably priced handgun ammo to be found. Should be ok on shotguns.

Looking forward to a report back. I'll be attending a gun show later in the month

All our gun shows have been canceled through end of July. When they were held, firearms prices were higher then gunpoker. Knife prices were good.

I'm going to the O show. Zoo most likely, prices through the roof. If'n you can wait, I'd do so (unless a walk in has what you want). Even CDNN has added $100 to "FFL cost" for every item in stock. Good luck, I've had an expensive summer so I'm going just to keep "doc" out of trouble. Joe

Should be good pickings since being locked down so long. Have fun, wish I was going.

Glad to hear that one is open in your area.
as always , prices will be high , however many of us , could use as many xtra $$ as possible these days.

go low , or as much as you want to pay , stand your ground and wish them "good day" if you cant strike a deal.

gloves and mask for me if I were attending...

Thanks for the response everyone. Usually this show is full of used bolt action hunting rifles, shotguns, and pistols. Some dealers with new stock attend, but not like the big shows in Tampa. Being from out of state, but with a CCL, I am limited to walking away with a rifle only, unless I want to send it to my FFL in FLA. I am good with ammo as i usually grab 500 rounds of something at each show.
Thanks

Our three June shows were very, very crowded. Lines to get in around the building. Prices through the roof as dealers, perhaps wisely, look to cash in on the frenzy of the uninformed. Handguns and shotguns moving briskly. rifles less so, but still up. Anything inexpensive (like Star handguns) vanishes. Less attention than usual to the T-shirts and cow skulls.

Glad you're getting to attend one, no matter what's there (or not there).

Ours have been cancelled, and ours is the least affected state in the republic!

Will report later.
Well I found some time to give a report on last week's gun show in Fletcher/Asheville NC.
Arrived 10 minutes before it opened on Sat and waited in long line to get in. Wait time around 30 min.
Masks were required but not policed (We wore ours and brought hand sanitizer)
AMMO -most calibers available in limited quantities. 5.56& 223 around 65 cents per round and up(have plenty at home). ALL other calibers were priced slightly above normal.
GUNS-Plenty of used rifles & handguns at normal to higher prices as usual. Not so many ARs but priced higher than normal.
PURCHASES-I bought a Remington 20 guage model 58 Sportsman for $250. In pretty nice shape but well used. Have not shot it yet.
My buddy picked up a s&w model 617 that was in great shape for $650 and also scored a nice Winchester model 9422 lever action 22 .
The place was NOT very crowded nor did I feel too close to other's around me. Here are some pics. Thanks
