I've never seen a Bigfoot... but I have seen several black bear walking on their hind legs that will make you take a second look!
The cougar isn't rare, have seen several over the years, people will believe that... as long as you don't tell them two that you saw was solid black!

I am in central Ohio, and I see there are a large number of sightings. I have spent literally thousands of hours traipsing through hill and dale and never seen anything or any evidence of one. They refer to him here as the Ohio Grassman. I don't know what to think about it. I certainly am not going to discount what very credible folks say, but it is strange that we don't have more hard evidence. Would love to know if they are real or not though.

If you like cheap thrills, here is a great way to test Winston Churchill’s claim that nothing in life is so exhilerating as to be shot at, hopefully without result.
For $31.99, this realistic Bigfoot hoodie can be yours. Just wear it on a stroll through the woods on the opening day of hunting season, with the hood up, preferably at dawn or dusk ....

Just look up "Dixie Cryptids" and read and watch. Also the "DOGMAN" in and around FT. PILLOW state park and the Hatchie River Wildlife Refuge of Hwy. 51 north of Memphis and the sightings along the Mississippi River levees in Mississippi. Pretty cool.

Never seen one - but apparently nearly 700 of my fellow Washingtonians have - highest number of any state in the union by a margin of over 40%.
Of course we did legalize recreational MJ a couple of years ago, so...

Approximately 150 million people in the US carry a camera with them 24/7 and NOT ONE of them has gotten a definitive picture or video of an actual Bigfoot?
I call BS on the whole Bigfoot scam.

The only thing one is likely to see from MJ is the bottom of a Blue Bell tub.

That’s pretty much the one thing Bigfoot is definitely NOT.
Probability says Bigfoot is indeed not real, but that’s not the same thing. There is also no doubt that, just like with UFO’s, plenty of hoaxers and pranksters have had their fun with this. But just in terms of cultural geography, the whole thing is way too big to be “a hoax”.
How bigfoot sightings can happen:
Not too long ago someone alerted the Oregon Dept. of Transportation to a Sasquatch clearly visible on one of their traffic cam feeds next to the guard rail along I-84 one night.
They checked the cam, now in daylight, and the Sasquatch turned out to be a tree and a box

I think most are black bear sightings. I learned never to say never after being told by our state game and fish for decades there are not Mountain Lions in Arkansas and all the stories were hoax’s, people drunk or high on the wildwood flower. They made same arguments you typically hear—thousands of cell phones, why no pictures?
Then a soccer mom hit one. Then a hunter shot one from his deer stand, took it in, and dumped on the game warden’s desk. Then a trail cam got a picture. The game and fish finally backtracked.

Michigan had 220 sightings Cool. Several years ago they had a team of Big Foot hunters searching the Porcupine Mountain in north west upper peninsula, there were sighting by others and people report strange screams but the search team had no luck That part of the UP is pretty pristine few if any people live there.
For me I believe.

1- There have been reports of that, but many...many years old. However, in the past several years, it seems there is a whole lotta 'new' controversy round the Patterson film. Some 'researchers' insist it's the tail-end of a documented HUNT. This involved professionals brought in from Canada to kill a 'troop' of them in an area where they were interfering with logging efforts. It's said that the female, who is now called Patty, is walking away in sheer grief after losing her child, and that it's a lost-cause to try and fight the hunting party.
2- For the same reason you don't find skeletal remains of other critters. Nature takes its toll quickly. From the rot of the organic material, to consumption by scavenging critters and insects to the weather's effects.

That commercial cracks me up!
Funny thing is my wife noted that not one but TWO of my sisters posted something on FaceBook about how funny they think that commercial is. We never talked about it, but I thought it was pretty funny how much we all had the same sense of humor.

An explanation is in order.
I, as a fully funtional 63 year old Portuguese heterossexual male. Am in perfect mental health.
My eye sight is still good too. Even if I wear prescription glasses.

I believe his name is Bob Chandler. Father of monster trucks. For years he had a large shop in Hazelwood mo. He often had various trucks on display on a pedestal. I remember he had a Ford Aerostar that was track driven.
Don’t know why but he moved the shop to Pacific Missouri. He often has a Bigfoot truck parked at the local grocery store.

Well now, Shaquile O'Neal wears a whopping size 22. That is a dang big foot. You know he's gotta be hard to push over. I've stayed in smaller hotels....
I get around as well as I can in my size 8s.

Don't you find it curious that ALL the pics you see of a bigfoot are fuzzy, blurry, out of focus and at a great distance? There's your clue right there.

In the 70’s Missouri has its own fake creature. It was called MO MO for Missouri monster. One would think this originated in the Ozarks of south central mo but it was said to be in Louisiana mo on the Mississippi River heading west.
The only thing real about it was that it inspired a ride named Momo the monster at six flags.

I do know about big feet. My partner is a direct descendant of Bigfoot Wallace, Texas Ranger. Her younger brother, and 2 oldest sons have Fred Flintstone feet. She is on the large end of normal for women, but they are blocky.

My neighbor Jim, and I were draining a bottle of fine Belvedere Vodka while sitting on his deck on a nice evening last fall. We saw a "Big Foot" in his garden, but by the time Jim retrieved his camera and picked himself up after falling off the deck, Big Foot had disappeared. HONEST-NO FOOLIN' ( as I recall).

I see Bigfoot quite often. He's my older son. He's a big boy.
Back in the late 1990s we were in the Boy Scouts. My son was around 17 at the time, had earned his Eagle and was working as an assistant Scoutmaster. Anyway, us adults were sitting together while the boys worked on various projects. The Grandfather of one of the boys was sitting with us and looked over at my son. The conversation went like this:
Grandpa: Good grief boy! What size shoe do you wear?
My son: 16 quad E.
Grandpa: Ain't in no danger of tippin' over, are ya?

All the ones I've shot at the bullets bounced off, then it charged and jumped over the truck at the last second. They are so agile you could never hit one with a vehicle

Cousin, OLA! I got my DNA done and I'm 9% Iberian. Just thought I'd say hi.
I believe we heard one back in 72', for three or four nights, in West Florida on the Suwannee River. Raised the hair on my arms.

Never saw a Bigfoot but I did have a possible encounter with the Texas Big Bird at about 10000' altitude near Harlingen TX one night.

Whatever you do, don’t be shooting a Bigfoot. You don’t need the trouble with killing a guy in a monkey suit.
