Default Good Sabbath Morning!!

It a clear 73° in Dixie this Sunday morning. I hope all of you have had a great week in spite of viruses, allergies, and various other illnesses and problems. I can smell breakfast and coffee, so I am getting a good appetite just by thinking about it.

The tomatoes are still growing like crazy and blooming. We had a nasty thunderstorm a couple of days ago that tried to blow them over. They are still leaning from the wind.

I hope to get to the range again in the next few days, but Doctor appointment and things are trying to get in the way.

My MBH (much better half) just called breakfast.

Ya'll have a blessed day,

Leon

Same to you Joe. So farit has been a great summer here. The wife's garden is doing great, we have floated tthe nearby creek repeatedly. One of my brothers says his part of the country is turning into jerky though.

Yo Leon and the rest of y'all.
Setting in my shuttered and secured Cat 2 proof home watching Isaias dissipate like a fart in an elevator.
Found some out of date canned hash scrounging before the storm, having that with a couple eggs.

Good morning sir, all is well in our little corner of the world. I was able to get out to the range three days this week. We've had rain off and on most of the week and have seen some beautiful sunsets and rainbows because of it. I hope you have a pleasant and peaceful day Leon.

Heat index is already 90° here. Quigley and I did our daily ~2 mile walk thru the woods at daybreak. No training drills on the Sabbath.

There's something special about sunrise on a Sunday.

We're remodeling our master bedroom. Finally finished the paint. The latex paint fumes now make me sick. My panting days are over!

Flooring scheduled to arrive Wednesday. I should be able to install it myself Just work slow and baby my knees as much as I can. I have my doubts though, as I'm pretty worn out from just the painting. LOL

Have a blessed Sabbath and get some rest and say a prayer for our country!

Most every brand of paint now offers a line with Zero VOC (Volitile Organic Compounds).
These paints are essentially odorless, and should allow you to tackle painting projects without distress, but not on the Sabbath of course.

All well here in the upstate of SC.

Good morning all. My wife is baking blueberry muffins as I type. It's hot and humid here in NEPA, and the kitchen is hot as hades, but the reward is worth it. Enjoy your day.

Good morning to everyone. I began the morning with a cup of tea and one of my turkey, poached egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches, with 4 different spices to jazz it up a little. I sent my morning text to my uncle here in town and he sent his response. That's how we make sure that we're all OK each day.

Today would have been our family reunion. Unfortunately, I had to make the decisions to cancel it. We have too many people in the family who are at enhanced risk with the Corona virus. It's the only way I see a lot of my cousins but we can't risk spreading the virus to our aunts and uncles and the older cousins.

Enjoy the day.

We missed church service this morning, my MBH had to get virus tested because she has a couple of tests coming up on Tuesday. It was a drive through experience that went quickly and we were back on the road home.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

Thanks for the tip, friend. I didn't know about the Zero VOC.

The fumes in the shut up room were pretty bad. Normally I would raise the windows but it was raining and I didn't want the raw sub-floor to soak up any of the outside humidity/moisture.

Flooring going down soon and we have to fight the high humidity down here.

Your welcome.
I learned about this type of product while researching alternatives after getting COPD and lung cancer. The fumes keep being emmited by regular paint long after it dries.
We just finished painting our living room, dining room, and kitchen with zero VOC paint from Lowe's called Valspar Simplicity. It covered fine and never smelled any fumes. We've been equally satisfied with the zero VOC paints from Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams.
