Default TO THE BATCAVE

Sometimes things just come around that you can't pass up. i always have the car search programs available to look for big, dark Ford products. What did I see but this black 2019 Ford Taurus Limited that had been sitting on the local Lincoln dealer's lot for the better part of a year. I had a 2013 that was paid off but it was 6 years older with 60,000 more miles. As I am known in a couple towns as the owner of cars designated as Batmobiles, this just turned out to be too good a deal to pass up. I picked it up today and now the new Batmobile is sitting in the Batca ... my garage.

Nice, really good looking car......but I gotta ask. Is your "Bat Tag" in the 2nd pic upside down? Just seems the bat's head should be pointing up!!

I rented a brand new one out west. What a great road car. I really wanted to buy an SHO but I just couldn’t see driving around locally where I do most of my driving. It felt big in town.

I noticed that as I was transferring the pictures to the computer. I guess the salesman who put the plates on didn't read comic books as a kid.

Holy Cow Batman! Isn't that the second Batmobile in about a year? POW! BANG! and BOOF! Is some evil villain doing harm? Is some nefarious salesman substituting lemons for fine automobiles?

I'll have to tune in during daylight, on this same Bat forum to find out!

Ivan

You are correct. I used the 2013 Taurus I got last fall as a trade-in. This was a chance to get the classic look Batmobile with 60,000 less miles and 6 less years.

I just wanted to mention that to keep up tradition, I rounded out my down payment with 10 Golden Dollars. The salesman said he was going to trade them out with a $10 bill when he turned in my down payment. I always like to have a little fun when I can.
