Shot or Shots just Fired
CNN is reporting one person was shot outside the White House, by Secret Service agent. This is being confirmed by POTUS, live right now.
UPDATE- reports now advise the person shot was near the "fence line" was armed. Secret Service fired two shots and person shot is on way to hospital.

old bear, posts on subjects such as this one almost make me post something back about it that would get me in trouble with the staff here. Because if I would post the first thing that crossed my mind it would probably earn me a ding. Not the fact that he was shot, just where he was headed after.

Guy was obvious nut job. Serious threats are not going to show up that way. The state of the Art snipers rifles or some type of Drone attack would worry me more.

At least in a story in this morning's paper, no details of the shooting have been provided. Seems like it was not an assassination attempt.
