Oh, Oh, the puppy thing. When the only tool you have is teeth, then ... Patience! Keep all shoes, socks, gloves, throw pillows, area rugs, blankets, trash receptacles, draperies, furniture and such delectables out of reach for another day. This too shall pass! Bones and other approved chewy things are your best friend. This may take a while.

One way or another they need to learn what "No" means.

That will require a swat to the butt now and then.
People trying to talk sense to their dog just makes me shake my head.
