What's that in the sky?
It's a bird? It's a plane? It's Superman?
So. What bird is it?
I know it's a tough question. This is a cell phone photo, so it's lousy, and the bird appears really small.
PS. I know what bird it is. Just seeing if any of you folks can guess.

It's a little one, at least from my point of view. Could be a buzzard or vulture, or crow or something else. :-)
Have a blessed day,

The way the wings are in a V I'd call Turkey Vulture if I saw it over Vegas.

No clue.
I have worn blisters on my index finger and thumb trying to expand the touch-screen and I still can't see it.

I can't see it well either, but I am going to go out on a limb ( ):
It is a Harris Hawk.

I don’t know but I’m trying to figure out why it appears to be centered in a separate larger pixel in the sky?
It appears square and a shade darker than the surrounding sky with ripples below your mystery bird.

I think we can safely rule out Penguin, Chicken, Ostrich, and Domestic Turkey. (Remember WKRP In Cinncy episode when they threw the live turkeys out of the chopper! "Oh the humanity!" & "God as my witness I thought turkeys could fly!")

If it's the Pittsburgh sky, it changes every 2 hours. Grey this morning, blue at noon when I went out, grey when I came home, blue when I took dog out. I'll be going out in a while; it may be purple. I washed my car today, so....

Stevens is most probably right. We brought many plants from all over the World, namely from Brazil.
But I will check them tomorrow by daylight(it's night here now).
The reason I don't know outright what they are is... They are in my neighbour garden.

Sorry, looked like your yard. We loved the brilliant flowering trees found in your country. They can really add some punch to an old stone village.
Speaking of birds in the sky, there is something new up there. A drone-launched drone called Sparrowhawk. Probably not what that dot in the sky is though.

About the bird
It is not flying. It's hovering.
It's a kestrel.
Luckily there are people that take bird watching seriously. Here is a video showing one "doing his thing".
I live on top of a hill some 350 feet above sea level. To the North there is another hill about 500/600 feet in height. The kestrels usually hover over the slopes going down to the valley in between. My guess is this one was about 150 yards away from me when I took the picture.
@ Rusty53
The Rolls Royce Kestrel was the aero engine that preceded the more famous Merlin.
Edit. Almost forgot. They have about a 30 inch wingspan.

It's not. But I have them around here too(there are at least 3 in my area). Never could get one on camera though. Only got the kestrel because it was stationary.

I don't care for them in my yard because of the thorns, They grow fast during the summer requiring constant trimming and will cut you up. I caught one on my ear and thought I was gonna bleed out.
