Default Enola Holmes

Enola Holmes on Netflix is a great movie. Too bad it's not a series. I'll wager it will be popular.

It's time to watch some kinder gentler stuff in these trying times.

A great series is The Durrells in Corfu. Set in the 30's an English family falls on hard times and relocates to Corfu.

Thanks for the recommendation. I haven't seen it yet, but I added it to my queue when it came out. I like to watch just about anything Sherlock-related, though some are better than others.

I saw it was on the Netflix list, also saw a lukewarm review in the newspaper. I'll probably watch it. Have been binge-watching Sch***s Creek the last few nights, even though it has been in the Netflix lineup for a long time. The wife loves it, she enjoys that type of comedy. Also because it is in 22-minute segments, so you can watch a few then go to something else, then come back.

The Durrells is a comedy. It reminded me of Doc Martin in the way it was written. I swear to you it's excellent. There's nowhere here you can go here without that stupid mask on. I gotta quit spending so much money anyway. I'm getting like Peggy Bundy ordering stuff I really don't need. As a result I'm watching more TV.

When I recommend movies or shows to my friends (most of whom are younger), I usually have to add “ ... but don’t watch this when the kids are around!”

“Enola Holmes” is a quite delightful exception to that. Not exactly heavy lifting when it comes to story complexity and depth, but I found it great fun. And as a fan of “Stranger Things”, it’s great to see the kid in other roles.

I watched it with my 14 yo. daughter on Netflix last Thursday as a father& daughter movie night and both enjoyed it. She's actually hoping for a sequel.

We watched it last night. Absolute proof that you don't need nudity, gross violence and language to have a great movie. I expected to like it but it caught me off guard. I enjoyed it tremendously. Miss Pam and I are fond of all things Sherlock Holmes but we agree that this was the best of it all.

Millie Bobby Brown totally stole the whole show. we first saw her in the series Stranger things. She has blossomed into a talented young actress with awesome scene stealing skills.

Don't be surprised if another Enola move pops up in the near future. I'll be a keepin' my eyes peeled.
