Thank You Again For Your Prayers
I had a defribillator inserted this morning. No more life vest. The surgery went well. Very sore but that won't last long. Thank you for all the prayers since my heart attack on June 8th. It's good to have friends and appreciate love you all. Too bad society frowns on men telling others what they mean to them. Too bad indeed.

Doug, I am tickled to hear that your implant surgery went well and that you have the comfort of having a defibrillator at the ready. That little hash mark will itch for a few days but that will pass.
I have never been shy about telling folks that I care about how I feel about them. I, or they could be gone tomorrow so I don't want to think: "gee...I wish I could have told them..."
