My list gun would be a H&K MP5 sub machinegun.
Unless I win the lottery I'd never pay $30,000 plus for a gun, so it will always be my list gun.

If we're talking guns, I've got several. Never wrote 'em down as it often changes, but there are a few "wishlist" items I'd like to get, some I'd probably have to win the lottery for.
One of the main ones is my grail gun, a 640ND. Probably the most realistically achievable one on my list, as well as the highest priority item.
I'd like to get a really nice custom 1911. A true custom, not a high-end semi-production gun. Leaning towards a Retro Govt Model by Harrison Custom or Heirloom Precision.
I'd also like to get a nice custom Hi-Power.
I've always wanted to make a copy of Jelly Bryce's Lucky 13 .44 HE Third-Model (I think that's what it is).
A nice AR.
A nice shotgun, probably semi-auto. Maybe the Mossberg 930(?).
Always wanted a .357 Magnum lever rifle.
A couple of LTT 92s, a Compact and a Centurion.
And a partridge in a pear tree!

I see marlin is offering there long barreled 45/70 cb.
I have lower affordable priced 1911’s. They do everything I want them to do right out of the box. My best one is my norinco that I built.

My wish list is ever expanding as I go along crossing off the ones that I have just purchased. Here is it at present:-
- Model 15 with 2" barrel
- Model 586/686 with 2.5" barrel
- Model 12 with 2" barrel
- Model 64 with 4" barrel
- Model 29 with 4" and 6.5" barrels
- Model 39
- Beretta 83/84/85 FS Square Trigger guard
- CZ75 BD
- Glock 27
- H&K P7M8
This will do for starters. Getting the 2" snubby Model 15 in Australia is going to be difficult. According to the long time importer, none ever came into Australia. However this does not discount the chance one may have come in by private import.

I would never consider a list,,
I have been thinking,, as best as I can remember,, virtually 100 % of my used guns were impulse purchases.
I bought a new Glock 19 by plan, this year, but, walking into the LGS, I did not know what Glock I was going to purchase.
(I guess it came down mostly to what he had in stock)
I have "categories", that I seldom vary from,,
629, 1911 in 45ACP,, etc,,
but, if I find a deal, I buy a deal,,
No list,,,

Nope, no lists.
I know what I like, and I like what I want.
This weekend was a prime example.
I like old Ruger Single Six revolvers, and I got one.
I wanted another 3rd generation Smith pistol, preferably a compact one, and I found one.
I know it when I see it

I'll play.
I want the Ruger Standard back that my dad gave me for graduation. It was stolen 7 years ago.

My wish list is short and simple
1-M66(no dash) round butt, 2-1/2 inch barrel
2-M27-2, blued, 3-1/2 inch barrel
3-M25-3 or -5 (.45 Colt), blued, 3-1/2 inch barrel
Now, my fantasy list is a tad longer......

Neat thread.
Any Chiefs Special I don't have (up through the millennium, 2000):
A single digit serial numbered Baby Chiefs, preferably serial number 6
A nickel Baby Chiefs
A square butt Baby Chiefs
A birth month and year Baby Chiefs (June '52)
An "early" model numbered Chiefs Special ('58, 125xxx serial number)
A first year ('65) Model 60
Models 36-4 & 36-5 (I've had a WTB ad here since February -- these are probably more affordable than the others! )

Mine would be filled with firearms that I once owned and let slip away.
Usually for something else I only thought I really wanted.
A little stretch of tranquility would be nice!

If wishes were horses...
What is still on my wish list is either, way above my pay grade or made of unobtainium in my shores.

Your wish list??
I actually made this list a few years ago
All of these were eventually bought
Colt 1911 A1 (USGI) or Gold Cup or ACE .22 LR or 1911 commercial
Colt Anaconda
Colt AR 15 SP1 or AR 15 A2 9mm para
Colt Python
Kimber Eclipse target II
Steyr AUG
Remington 700 SPS tactical
SIG P 210 in 7.65 mm
Glock 18
CZ 75 automatic
Beretta 92 Combat
S&W 610
Those are still pending
Mauser C96 red 9
SIG AMT (510-4) .308 Winchester
Colt 1903 hammerless military or civilian
CZ 97 B
Plus all the impulse purchases not on the list, including two nice S&W 29-2 and 27-3

Wishing is for the folks that buy lottery tickets...... the odds are heavily stacked against them
I look for "targets of opportunity"...... and the wisdom to recognize them!!!
