Google Mesh WiFi
Does anybody here have experience with a Google Mesh WiFi router/extender? I am having fits with my WiFi router and traditional WiFi extender and its multiple networks. Moving around the house with a device on WiFi results in dropped networks.

No experience with the Google solution, but I've been thrilled with my new Asus router. They have a range of products that are pre-configured to mesh.
Newegg has offered good choices on computer and peripheral equipment.

I recently moved to a rural area where everyone has the small dish on top of their house for the internet. Line of sight to a tower type thing. Anyway, technician installing my system (which was weak in parts of the house) suggested me getting an eero wi-fi extender, which I did. Technician even came by later and installed it for me. Works great and I have full signal in every room of the house. Just three little boxes that you plug in at different locations of your home.

I needed a new extender and went to Best Buy. Sales person sold me a mesh extender as "just plug it in". I did and lost my entire router system. Another $150 solved the problem. Lesson: To use the mesh extender, one must also have the mesh router.

I have the google system and it works very well. The coverage is consistent and does not drop on any level of the house. It is not inexpensive but I feel it was worth it in my situation.

Been using the google system for almost a year and a half. Added and editional router for the top floor of the house.
Get excellent coverage.
NOTE: Mesh networks NORMALLY consist of a WiFi modem hardwired to you internet source and multiple routers placed around the house. Primary router is hardwired to the modem, others wireless. As you move thru the house you actually pick up the nearest/strongest router. Mesh networks do not have Extenders.

I set them up recently in two houses. This system works like a charm. Great coverage. Easy as DUPLO (Not LEGO - these can be complicated ). You can buy set of 1, 2 or 3 and then expand if needed. Once configured every expansion takes care of itself (plug and play). The only what you need is mobile device with app to set it up.
