Denzel Washington Great Message
Denzel Washington is actually a humble man. With all his success, he has not forgotten his foundations: <iframe width="962" height="541" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/aWrFppphs6w?list=RD6F5BE1bU4lY" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Lots of things one doesn't know but are great about some people they had no idea about. I really liked him in the movie Unstoppable. His character shone thru in it.

Escaped the drug ridden mean streets of Mt Vernon NY intact.
Great message, and outstanding actor and philanthropist. He lives what he preaches.

I knew liked Denzel as an actor.
But I LOVE him as a speaker and human being after seeing that.
His stock just went up 10,000% in my book.

He's possibly my favorite actor. Think I've only saw one movie that I didn't like that he was in.

I was truly impressed with the job he did in Glory, he has never given me any impression other than his willingness to get into character and do the best with his talent.
I did not see this event and once again am not surprised that he gave a great speech which resonates with his character and talent. Thanks for posting.
We could all do better...

Thank you very much wood714. I am no wizard on the computer. I did want people to see this great man and hear his speech.

Kevin, I can't pick one as he has so many stellar performances. Every time I try to land on one I stop and think: "wait..what about....?"
I recently watched "The Book of Eli".
I don't know enough superlatives to accurately describe his body of work.

I just watched the trailer for that. Never saw Glory.
It's got Morgan Freeman in it too, will have to give it a try.
Thanks.

I've probably only seen one or two films he was in. Watched The Equalizer awhile back for the first time. It was okay, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I was a faithful watcher of the old TV show back in the day, though.
I saw the first few minutes of Training Day years ago, but didn't watch the rest. I was bored by it, and just turned it off. Maybe it would've gotten better if I'd kept watching, but I'll probably never know.
