OIS/Officer Shot & Suspect Dead
The news reported today that a police officer was shot, and the suspect was killed by return police gunfire, early today at my former agency (I retired in ‘97). Fortunately the young cop was not hurt badly and was released from the hospital to recover at home.
It seems like it’s open season on police everywhere.

The good side won this round. Glad to hear that the Officer will be okay.
It's too bad that those behind the scene who have created and are stoking this war against police officers will not be held accountable ...therefore it will go on.

The war on cops really gets me fired up. Good that the officer will be OK and that the perp has assumed room temperature.

Glad the officer is going to be ok and that the perp got bagged and tagged.
I have/had many relatives both living and deceased who are/were cops.
I support the police 100%

Good news that the young officer will be okay.
The law enforcement people start work everyday laying their lives on the line with no assurance they will open their locker at the end of the shift.
I am highly concerned about LE possibly being hesitant using force, this hesitance could easily cost their life.

The second suspect turned himself into VA State Police (VSP). VSP is conducting the criminal side of the OIS.
