Country song title
Getting ready to take the Polaris Ranger for a drive t through some mountains and it is elk season. I am loaded up and truck is warming up, pouring coffee into thermos and wife says, I suppose I should get dressed. I responded with, Ya, "My rifle is in the rig"
She thinks that would make a good country song title.
My rifle is in my rig.

My rifle is in the rig
Not planning on shooting a pig
I hope that elk is big
My sights are off
My rifle is leaned on the gate
I’ve still got the taste of Colgate
If that elk comes my way it’ll be ok
Now where are my shells
My rifle has the safety off
I’m trying not to cough
Now that elk is looking at me
All of a sudden I have to pee
My rifle has the trigger pulled
That elk is a big bull
I hope my aim is true
Otherwise it’ll be dinty Moore stew
My rifle has hit the mark
Clean through and lodged in some bark
Oh great it’s getting dark
I’m glad I held in that..........gas
My rifle is in the truck
I’d like to say it’s more than luck
And now I have meat for the winter
And we can forget about ramen for our dinners
Because my rifle is in the rig

To quote David Allen Coe, you didn't mention trains, mommy or getting
drunk.

How about this one
No Elk
No Horns
No Shots
No good
Actually we had va great time on our Sunday drive through some rough country. Saw some deer, but, no elk.
I call my Ranger "Sherpa". It takes me up mountains.

or outa prison.
The first time I ever heard that song, Coe was singing it live. He was the opener for somebody, and I can't remember who it was. I had never heard of him. He definitely cracked us up with the last verse.

From different spots on the ridge you can see the Crazy mountains, the Moccasins, the Highwoods, the Big Snowies, the Judiths, The Pryors and the Big Horns
Montana has 65 mountain ranges over 5000'
I live on the east side o the Judith basin, formed by the Snowies (Big& Little) the Little Belts, Judith and Moccasins, Highwoods and it is drained by the Judith river flowing north ion to the Missouri. My house is at about 4400ft
From some spots you can see other mountains over a hundred of miles away

So admittedly I have too much time on my hands. But if you look around on the internet a bit, you can actually find lists of bad country song titles. They should have contests, like the Bulwer-Lytton contest for best “worst first line of a non-existent novel”.
Below the longest one. Probably just made up, like those famous lists of supposed quotes from student papers that no student ever wrote. Funny in any case.

John Denver nailed it with "You Stomped on my Heart and Squashed that Sucker Flat".
