Rest in Peace, Hal Ketchum...
Sad news yesterday from the country music world...Hal Ketchum died of complications from Alzheimer's dementia at the age of 67.
He was just a terrific singer...I would have killed to have his voice! Onstage, he was laid back and easygoing, and connected beautifully with his fans.
May he rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to his loved ones...
Hal Ketchum, 'Small Town Saturday Night' Singer, Dead at 67 - Rolling Stone

That's really bad....
67 and dying from dementia. There are some things that can really put a stop to a successful career.

I have his Hits album stored in my car's system. I like the ones you have mentioned, but my favorite is Satisfied Mind.

Among my favorites- my wife and I saw him in March 2018 - front row seats.
He didn’t look healthy but his voice was still spectacular.

I was fortunate enough to meet him at a local county fair years ago. He at one time was a carpenter, as am I, and we shared a few lies before he went on that night. He had a very distinctive voice that just warmed the soul. RIP
