Default Deer hunt curiosities

On a recent deer hunt, besides harvesting a couple of deer, got the attached picture of a moth with natural Mossy Oak Camo. If you look close at the middle, you can see Gene Simmons from KISS.

Also, next day while driving 4 wheeler cross country, came upon a downed power pole with (2) clear glass insulators. Went North to South and found (4) more downed poles, 3 with insulators. The (4) larger insulators are all marked HEMINGRAY-56 and have date codes from 1960. The (4) smaller insulators are marked HEMINGRAY-17 and have date codes from my birth year of 1958. Even though the poles were dropped in an extremely rocky field, only one insulator was chipped.

Cool find.

Cool finds. I always liked finding stuff like those, old jars/pill bottles/milk bottles, old hand tools, etc. I can remember when we were kids, we'd walk around the Missouri countryside & RR tracks shooting those insulators on top of the poles with a .22 rifle. Young and dumb....
